Clients with minor to major medical service needs may be flown on a private flight. The Private Air Ambulance Service which AirStar Arizona, Inc. partners with includes the following services:

• Ventilator therapy
• Oxygen services
• Wound Care
• Infusion Therapy including Blood Transfusion
• Chest tube, Specialized Drain, and Shunt Care
• Organ Transportation
• Cardiac, Pulmonary, and Hemodynamic monitoring

Each medical flight is customized for the client ensuring all medication and life support equipment needed to provide routine or emergency medical services for the client are available.

Aero-Medical private flights are completed on a Lear jet or a King Air prop plane depending on length of runway, travel mileage, or care space needed for the client.   What this means for the client is less stops, faster air speed and increased comfort. The plane is staffed with a Pilot, Co-pilot, two Air Medical Specialists and a Physician if needed. The planes and services are Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) licensed and accredited by the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) and Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS). These flights are more costly, but when a rapid response flight with high acuity is needed, this is the appropriate choice. These flights are available globally and are able to take off within 24-48 hours.

Up to two family members, caregivers, or friends may travel with the client for no additional cost. Luggage is limited to one small carry-on.
