Registered Nurse

Associate Degree = 2 year nursing program. Bachelors of Science Degree = 4 year nursing program.
Diploma = 3 year nursing program.
Licensed through state by passing RN licensing exam.

L.P.N.
L.V.N.
Licensed Practical Nurse
Licensed Vocational Nurse
Nursing Training Program lasting about 1 year offered through a vocational or technical school, or community or junior college. Licensed through state by passing PN licensing exam.
C.N.A.
Certified Nursing Assistant

Completion of training program of approximately 75 classroom hours and 100 on the job training hours.
Certified through the state by passing Nurse Assistant certification exam.  

P.C.A.
Personal Care Assistant           

On the job training in areas of caring for patients. Has no licensing or certification process, however, may have specialized skills such as phlebotomy, wound care, etc. CPR certified. First Aid certified.

C.C.S.
Child Care Specialist

Child Care experience with CPR and First Aid Certification.


Private Air Ambulance Provider Qualifications

C.C.P.
C.C.N
Air Medical Specialist
Critical Care Paramedic
Critical Care Nurse
Physician        

Paramedic with specialty training in critical care.
R.N. with specialty training in critical care.
Physician with specialty training in critical care.

N.P.
Support Specialist
Nurse Practitioner
Perfusionist

N.P. with specialized skills and training in critical care.
Specialist with skills in administering, blood, blood products, dialysis, etc.

A.T.P.
Pilot/Co-pilot
Airline Transport Pilot

FAA licensed.
Airline Transport Pilot licensed Specialized medical training in aeronautical decision making, cockpit resource management, medical flight operations integration, infection control, and patient handling.
